USTVGO

USTVGO is a multimedia mobile app that allows you to watch United States TV channels for free inside or outside the country. The app offers more than 80 TV channels in the United States. To get the app and its content, you will need to install a VPN to work together with the app. There is a website version of this same app, which offers more features compared to the app version. However, the app allows you to enjoy TV stations on the go.

Get Started with USTVGO

Setting up the app on your mobile device is easy. You do not need an account – just download the app and start watching the channels. If you are in the United States and want to watch the channels without a subscription, you can use the app. Those outside the US need a VPN to disguise their location and watch the channels for free.

You cannot have just any VPN you need. The app only recommends NordVPN, and they have a direct link for you to download the app. However, you do not necessarily need the VPN to check out the list of channels available. However, to jump into the shows and get started, you need to have a VPN.

Once you have the VPN, you can start watching the shows. The menu is simple. Its homepage is just plain white with simple icons showing the various categories, including Sports, Kids, Entertainment, New App, and TV Guide. You can click on any of the icons to see the list of available channels under the categories.

TV Guide shows you all the TV channels in alphabetical order. The New App section shows you the other app from the developer, USTV 247. It is a free app, but it shows ads. You will have the TV commercials that air in between TV programs, and you will have app ads that air when you switch from one TV channel to the next. There is no way to skip the short ads that the app shows. Because the app is completely free, these short ads are how it makes money.

Most of the channels play well enough for you to enjoy. However, some will not play as well as you may want them. There are limited video options when you are playing the channels. The only option is playing the channel on full screen and that is all.

Should You Get USTVGO?

If you have watched channels through the website version, the performance of this app version might not impress you much. However, it offers you a simple way to watch channels from the US on the go. Most of the channels load with ease, and if your network connection is right, there will be no buffering. However, some of the channels might freeze a bit when you are watching. You cannot do any video settings, such as changing the resolution, besides putting the video on full screen.
